Today is a day we've been dreaming about for a long time. We're launching our Minecraft Cubles line — and it's available at Walmart stores across the country.
If you'd told us a few years ago that kids would be building their favorite Minecraft characters from paperboard in Walmart aisles, we probably would have laughed. But here we are. And honestly? We're a little emotional about it.
Why Minecraft?
Minecraft is the best-selling video game of all time, with over 300 million copies sold. But more than that, it's a game about building. Kids don't just play Minecraft — they create worlds, design structures, and solve problems block by block.
That philosophy is exactly what Cubles is about. Taking something flat, folding it with your hands, and turning it into something real. Minecraft and Cubles were made for each other.
The Characters
We launched with the characters Minecraft fans know and love:
- Steve — the original. The builder. The one who started it all.
- Alex — adventurer, explorer, and equally iconic.
- Creeper — the one that makes everyone jump. Ssssss...
- Zombie — complete with Baby Zombie, because everything is scarier in miniature.
Plus our Minis line — smaller, faster to build, and perfect for younger builders or collecting:
- Steve Mini
- Alex Mini
- Creeper Mini
- Chicken Jockey Mini — yes, that's a baby zombie riding a chicken. Fan favorite.
Available at Walmart
This is a huge milestone for us. Cubles started as a small operation in Arden Hills, Minnesota — designing, cutting, and packaging everything by hand. Seeing our products on Walmart shelves next to brands we grew up with is surreal.
You can find Minecraft Cubles in the toy aisle and the arts & crafts section at Walmart stores nationwide. They're also available in our Minecraft Minis Pack — four characters in one box.
What This Means for Cubles
Walmart isn't just a retailer — it's how millions of families discover new products. We know that most people haven't heard of Cubles yet. But when a kid picks up a Minecraft Cubles box in a Walmart aisle, builds it in the car on the way home, and holds up a poseable Steve they made with their own hands — that's the moment everything changes.
That kid becomes a builder. And builders tell their friends.
Thank You
We wouldn't be here without the families, teachers, and retailers who believed in us early. Every order from our website, every classroom pack, every party favor recommendation — it all led to this moment.
To every parent who took a chance on a paperboard toy when plastic was the easy choice: thank you. You made this possible.
Check out the full Minecraft collection and see what all the excitement is about. We think Steve would approve.
